Josepha Milazzo
Postdoctoral Researcher in Geography of the University of Corsica and an Associate Researcher in the TELEMMe Laboratory
Josepha Milazzo holds a PhD in Geography from the Aix-Marseille Université and from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Geography of the University of Corsica and an Associate Researcher in the TELEMMe Laboratory.
She is a coordinator for the Migrations Network (Réseau Migrations). She specializes in migration studies and links with mobility and sociality, otherness, diversity and citizenship, the ontology of human life, rural development and small non-metropolitan localities, in island / autonomist contexts (Corsica, Catalonia – Europe / USA / Canada). She also investigates the contributions that Utopian visions, Science Fiction and the Arts can make to these issues. She is working on the formalization of a Psycho-social geography, transdisciplinarity and the “augmentation” of Geography, using anthropological, political philosophical, biographical and environmental psychological approaches. To this end, in parallel with her research, she is also studying now Psychology and Sociology (University of Rennes 2).
