Marcela Andrade
Marcela Andrade received his BA in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Ceará and MA in Anthropology from the Fluminense Federal University. She is enrolled as PhD Student in Social Anthropology at the National Museum, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, which is also a member of the Laboratory of Anthropology and History (LAH/PPGAS/MN) at the same institution. In 2021, was awarded a scholarship in the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut, in Berlin, to develop his research about visual and sonic technologies with the Cuban Abakuá Society.
She works in the interfaces between Anthropology, Arts and History with a focus on the production and circulation of knowledge, multiples conceptions of time and space and the interconnections between social thought and artistic expressions.
GDC is a remarkable initiative that promotes a powerful network to the exchanges between multiple forms of knowledge and a necessary step to construct decentralized ways of thought.
