GDC Strategic Planning Meeting 2025: A Vision Come True

The GDC began in 2015 as an idea—an international network of scholars committed to producing new knowledge through diverse epistemologies and methodologies. From the start, collaboration with a wide range of partners was at its core. Now, ten years later, more than 20 members from Asia, North America, Europe, and South America gathered in Boston (USA) to continue building the future of the GDC together.

Over two intense days of work, we reflected on our journey, shared visions for the future, and developed concrete strategies to bring them to life.

Day 1: GDC Memory and Vision

We explored the history of the GDC, reflected on our achievements and challenges, and envisioned our collective dreams for the future. From this exercise, working groups began outlining their plans.

Day 2: Strategy Building and Commitments

Committees and working groups advanced in defining concrete strategies and actions to turn the GDC vision into reality. We reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening our community and shaping the path we want to take together.

This gathering marked a new milestone in the consolidation of the GDC and inspires us to continue building collectively. Let’s keep building together!
