Ph.D. Candidate – Graduate Program in Social History at the Department of History at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

She has a B.A. (2013) and an M.A. (2015) in History from Fluminense Federal University (UFF). Since June 2016, she is an Adjunct Professor of the History of Brazil, teaching Contemporary History of Brazil, U.S.A., and Latin America at the Federal University of State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO). Between March 2019 and January 2021, she was Editor-in-chief of the students’ academic journal Ars Historica (2019-2021), and she is working as Editorial Support for Topoi. Revista de História, the official journal of the Graduate Program in Social History (PPGHIS-UFRJ).

She is a member of the following Research Groups: ‘Laboratório História e Natureza’ (Laboratory History and Nature – UFRJ) and the Núcleo de Estudos Históricos do Artefatos de C&T (NEHACT) at the Museum of Astronomy and Related Sciences (MAST). Since 2020, she is also a member of the Global (De)Centre (GDC), an international working group committed to discuss and use different epistemologies and methods by working collaboratively with researchers all around the world. Her specific research interests: History of Astronomy; History of science and technology in Brazil; History of the Brazil Empire; Historiography of science and technology; and Environmental History and scientific knowledge.
